Letter from your teachers to your parents

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Welcome to Nav 1 2020. We look forward to working with you.
Research shows us that when parents and teachers work in partnership in a child's
education the benefit to the child is immense.

We are writing to you to help us become partners with you in your child's education.
It is important that your child feels at home in our classroom, and feels a part of the class
that will journey with them throughout this year.
The children in Rooms 17 and 18 are unique individuals, each with his or her own learning style
and interests, history and hopes.
We would like you to help us teach your child well by taking a moment to write to us about them.

What is your child like?

What are the things you, as a parent, know that would be important for us to know?

What are your child's interests, strengths and areas in need of development?

We want to know how your child thinks and plays and how you see your child as a learner
and as a person.

In addition, if you have any special areas of expertise or passion
that you may wish to share with the pod please communicate this with us also.
This may be employment related or simply a hobby, we would love to have your input.

Thank you for taking the time to enable us to better understand your child.
We look forward to hearing from you.
