THE STORMY NIGHT
With such a frightful fear
I heard bangs and popping
Sounds pounding in my ear
The rain began to pour
soaking the flooded ground
outside the mountain wall
while I was sleeping
Animals ran with fright
And quivered through the night
With flashing striking light
By Bodhi
The trees rustle anonymously
And the clouds roll in, causing
The shining sun to
Disappear
In the calm before the storm.
The howling unforgiving wind bites faces
And washes away umbrellas,
In the cunning of the storm.
A spine chilling wail fills the air
While people run for cover
In the wrath of the storm.
The heavens open and rain pours
down
In the middle of the storm
Forks of lightning illuminate the sky and the
Rumble
Of the thunder
Echos
Through the night
Like a discontented
Ghost
In the monster of the storm.
The clouds fall back reluctantly
And a watery sun dances and sparkles
In the end of the storm.

Calm before the storm
The atmosphere silent like a panther through the night
Time still as a stone
The worlds have stopped
Everything motionless
It was like everything stopped
My heart pounding
The wind blowing
Then everything started again
Grey clouds coming in with the red eyes of rage
Thunderbolts hitting and incinerating the ground
The screams of fear in the distance
The sub zero temperatures of rain hitting the ground
Hurricanes through the sky
destroying everything in its path

The Rolling Storm
The dark gloomy clouds howl upon us
While our pet run in fear
The leaves come rushing up the pavement
While the wind whistles through the air
As the sky becomes a thick dark blanket
While we sit inside and wait for it to clear.
